Tulip Bowl

From Cindy Rennel's inventory
at Cindy's Antique Quilts

This wind-blown tulip is based on a Mountain Mist pattern
called Tulip Bowl

First published in 1933

"A delightful blending of new and old in quilt design...[an] old idea has changed 'into something new and strange.' "
Quilt dated 1933

The commercial pattern was eccentric enough
and then people added their own eccentricities to it.
